English Countryside

As we are closing in on my final days in this country, I thought I would recap some scenes from our lovely and quintessentially English vacay up to the country (Norwich area). It was a trip filled with: playful dogs, amazing traditional English food, the North Sea aka BEACH, the cosiest country home ever filled with great company from world travelers and rides in a convertable. Basically, a dream.

I have actually done a pretty darn great job of exploring this city I'd say. But literally it's so big there are still plenty of boroughs I have yet to venture to. Perhaps my next trip up to this island...

Oh and a couple of friends and myself went to see "The Chef" last night and I gotta say, it was superb! A feel good movie. Fair warning:

DO NOT GO HUNGRY. Unless you have Cuban food near you then....just eat before hand. I wanna start a food truck.

Mist trails and palm trees

Yep. It's almost that time again. Literally, I'm trippin out over here. Nothing to do with job hunting or the fact I'm moving across the pond (again). No, no......it's 109 degrees back home right now (for those EU peeps, that's a stifling 42C). Yeah, I know. I'm over here in 70-75 and am like......I'm going to die. Straight up melt. Ugh. BUT.........I'm so stoked to come home and see the fam and besties and my crazy cats. Plus, let's get real...California is pretty doggone amaze balls. I've been dreaming about mist trails, half domes, target, redbox, REAL Mexican food, animal fries and palm trees for quite a while now.

I will miss London. I'll miss so many things about this unbelievable city that has become my home. I feel so privileged and blessed to be able to say that I called it home for a time. It woos you in so many ways it's near impossible to want to leave. I know I'll step foot on English soil again. Till then, California...you get in my senses (preferably not too much to give me hay fever). Xo
